Time saving tip of the day:

My bf bought me a book on CD called "Getting Things Done" for Christmas. It's about managing your time efficiently and blah,blah,blah.
Yes, I think I've slowly but surely developed A.D.D. from surfing the internet hours and hours each day. Now if I could only get paid for surfing the internet in search of cute stuff- life would be grand! Anywhoo, as I am listening to the CD I think to myself, "How can I get more free time out of my day?" and then it hits me... WEAR SWEATPANTS 24/7! I can just wear them to bed, wake up, roll out the door, roll back in the door and back to bed. No showering even necessary! The bonus is after a few days of not showering you will smell so bad no one will want to associate with you! That's at least another 3 hours of "me" time each day!

Ok here are mine,

6 weird things about me:

1. I don't own a microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, Ipod, car, dog, cat, functional radio, or TV over 8 inches.

2. Drinking out of pre-wet glasses grosses me out.

3. Butterflies give me the heeby jeebies. Butterflies=Insects, Insects=Creepy. Don't throw rotten tomatoes at me butterfly lovers, I know that there are millions of you out there. That would be a lot of tomatoes. Let save the tomatoes for some nice fresh mozzarella brick oven pizza. :)

4. I wear PJ pants for most of the day. Polka dotted ones. The delivery men love it. I can tell by the way they quickly turn their heads away when I open the door.

5. I can eat cereal for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Also pizza, yum pizza.

6. I always think I see "things" moving in my apartment when I am alone. But in fact it is just one of my hairs in front of my eye. :P

I am going to just tag Sal, cause I have no other friends frankly. ah-pooty-pooty. BUT feel free if you actually read this blog and would like to participate please do, I officially tag you!

Clean Green

In an attempt to "green it up" around here, I've invested some cashola in some natural home cleaning products. I just love the vintage inspired packaging on Mrs. Meyer's Clean Day products. It's a win,win,win,win situation with this one. Supposedly it smells really good, it doesn't kill you (always good), it is not harmful to the environment, and the packaging is great looking!

Elephant tray

I first saw this tray in a book called Stockholm Kitchens and today I finally came across the way to buy it (via bloesom)! But since it would be $37 plus ship., I will admire it from a distance for now. This pattern is by Estrid Ericson. They also have a kids apron with the same pattern which is pretty good looking. Oh, and matching oven mitts!

Ok, so I watched An Inconvenient Truth the other night, have you seen it? If you haven't, you should. It's a good documentary. So I was looking to donate some money to plant some trees and I found these 2 sites, for just $1 you can have one tree planted! I think that is a pretty good deal!
