DIY dish soap

I'm testing out a dish soap recipe right now.

Stepping up to the plate we have-

Unscented castile soap
Ketel One vodka as an emulsifier
Vegetable glycerine as a thickener
A few drops of lemon, tarragon, and eucalyptus essential oils

in a recycled glass jar. So far, so good.

Hey! I just blogged about this too. How is yours at cutting grease? I may have to try your recipe!

I haven't had a problem so far, it makes everything squeaky clean & bubbles up well. I might try white vinegar instead of the vodka the next time. I just used what I had around. I need to take a chemistry class so I can really figure out the minimum amount of ingredients that are needed.

I like that you used a baseball reference. My obsession is finally rubbing off on you. ;)
