Timmie's new Autumn jacket

Wednesday, September 24, 2008

Hurrah, I finally found a use for 10+ year old puff paint!

I decided to throw uniformity out the window and mark up my photo albums so I can actually know what is inside each of them at a glance. I have about 20 of these black albums by HFP and I think they are a great way to keep your photos organized. I believe they are archival as well but I am not positive. I purchased these at Pearl Paint on Canal St. in Manhattan.

new to me

I just discovered the TV show It's always sunny in Philadelphia. While visiting Sal's cousin this past week in Baltimore and fishing through his TiVo I (and Sal and my brother) came across a few episodes. I never heard of this show before even though it has been on since 2005! I'm guessing since I don't have cable or any friends it would be difficult to find out about such things. Anywho, I think it is hilarious! It has a similar feel to Seinfield and Curb Your Enthusiasm but with characters from my generation. Recommended!

I just added the Timmie pictured above to my Etsy shop. I am going to have the next biggish shop update on October 15.

September shop special!

Free Tea Time Bunny Notepad ($7 value) with orders of $20 or over. Just mention BUNNY in the "message to the seller" section and I will send one along with your order while supplies last. I will remove the notice in my Etsy shop when/if I run out of bunny notepads. Just be sure to mention that you want one at checkout, I won't be able to send out the notepad after your item is already packed up and shipped.

Timmie Print Test Print

I'm working on some prints for my shop. Not quite there yet, they are coming out uber-contrasty and dark :(. I will keep tweaking it.

What do you think is a good size? Right now the painting is at 100% with approx 1.5 inch border on 8.5 x 11 matte fine art paper. Should I trim it down to 8 x 10 so it will be easier to frame? Also, I was thinking making small 5x7 prints with a tiny white border, what do you think will be best?
