latest obsessions
Wool felt- I just purchased my first pieces of wool felt and they are so soft and the colors are so beautiful! I made my bf Sal a phone cozy out of the gray piece. I'm curious to see how it will hold up in comparison to synthetic felt.
Beeswax candles- I've been testing out some candles lately and so far these are my favorite. I had bought some soy candles from Etsy but I found that the scent was way to strong for me. This beeswax candle is 100% pure beeswax and doesn't contain and artificial dyes or fragrances. I like.

Save your scraps kids!
cloud card case made w/ scraps from my other prototypes. Next year I will be even more vigilant in saving my fabric scraps! Time to go look for more storage! I've been eyeing this beauty for a few years. I desperately need an inexpensive flat file. Have you seen any good ones?

...or is there??!?!
ba ba ba bummmmmmmmmm...
But seriously kids- I wanted to recommend using Priceline's "name your own price". I know this sounds like an ad but really- we got to stay at a 4-star hotel for the price of a 2 or 3-star!
Priceline, you can send your check to Marilyn Patrizio 68....

Bazaar Bizarre Boston 2007
my set-up:
Now, I want to give a big THANK YOU to everyone who stopped by my table! It is always interesting to see people's reactions to my work in person. Like small children begging their moms to purchase Monster Timmie Beer coin pouches (coming soon to my etsy shop) for them, with a resounding "No way!" as a response! :)
Also, I want to give a special thank you to what dat who stopped by my table along with her customized Timmies - #110-#113 (below)
She also gave me this awesome sculpture of Timmie w/a bookworm and toadstool w/ coordinating ribbon and stationery! Could this be any more awesome?! NO, I don't think so! Look how perfectly, proportionately sculpted that little Timmie is!
the close up:
the back:
and... it glows in the dark!!
Thank you so much S,C and Timmies 110-113 :D!

Print on linen
Here is my first attempt to print on linen ~ very exciiiiiiting. I've heat sealed the ink and now these are ready to be made into something useful. I am thinking a mini tablecloth... what would that be called...a placemat... like a doily but not frilly or a pillow or maybe some bookcovers or a pouch. Can I still call it a doily if it is not lacey? Please enlighten me.

Painting Tour
Alt. title- "More of my paintings that you'll ever want to see in your whole life". I had spread them all out for some friends that were coming over and decided to take this video before I put them all away. Enjoy!
Note: the only audio in this video is my size 10's stomping around. So if you want to play some classical music along with it, that'd be great. :) Also, the paintings at the end w/ the black mats are watercolors.
