Here are my results with the white shrink paper. Unfortunately the red paint spread and turned the white orange, I tried to clean it up a bit but it still looks yucky. I decided to punch 2 holes in these so I can use them as buttons and with the scraps I made owl pull tabs for my future owl pouches.
I think it came out pretty good for my first attempt. I had to retouch some of the paint after it was baked and then I shined them up with some acrylic varnish. I made some mini mushrooms with the left over pieces.
as you can tell from my sophisticated drawing style all those years of art school really paid off ;)
I will post the results shortly.
Making use of my pear screen, I made these envelopes with matching stationery. I added 1 set to my shop

Also in shop news- lower shipping costs for my Canadian cousins! I know how the Etsy shoppin' Canadians hate to pay the "everywhere else" shipping fee on etsy! So I've added a separate shipping cost especially for them :) And also another new feature on etsy is combined shipping cost and a shopping cart! Go check it out if you haven't already!Don't leave an innocent stuffed bunny alone around a (straight) man. 'Cause this will happen.
I was about to compliment the workers on their artfully stacked shirts but before I could they yelled at me for taking a photo. jerks.
I found this porcelain toothpick holder at a Japanese supermarket last night. I love it so much. kiss. kiss.
After some research this morning I found out that it was designed by Masahiro Mori and that it is for sale online HERE. Check out those chopstick rests!

You should have seen all the disappointed faces! It was actually pretty funny. That is what they deserved anyway when they showed up to my door with no costume and just a grocery bag! I know I am turning into one of those mean old ladies! I remember when I was a kid some old man gave me an unripe banana when I rang his bell. Next year fruits for everyone!
