Bunny Pouch arrives in Ireland

I made this dude at the same time as Jimmy Backpack but haven't had the time to photograph him. He comes with his very own notebook. He dabbles in comic book writing and so he likes to keep his notebook ready in case of sudden inspiration.
Available at www.mpatrizio.etsy.com
Go squeeze them in person! :)
Area Yoga + Baby
on Smith St.
They are called So Softies.
I bought these today in hopes of painting a still-life with them. I rarely come in contact with oranges that still have some leaves on them. So i'm excited! Hopefully I will be able to paint them and also eat them before they go bad.
Wish me luck :)
She is such a good helper! You can see pillow shirt dude just chilling in the back while the girls do all the work!
P.S.
Les and Max your packages are on the way :)
I used one of the strawberryish shaped buttons that Cimba sent me to make this fuzzy turquoise pouch. I am trying to practice my hand stitching/applique abilities. I still have a long way to go.
I am happy to announce that I finally photographed and added my bunny pouches to my shop- www.mpatrizio.etsy.com!
These are perfect for keeping Ipods safe and cozy! Also great for rubbing your nosey on them and making believe they are your real pet bunnies
Teppy (chrissy cupcake's twin sister) in her new home! she fits in perfectly!
Thanks Shara for sending me these pictures!
Oil painting from a 3 hr. sitting.
Alternate title "Profile of a man with flash light eyes" :)
This was in the finely wrapped package from the other day. A cute little pouchie from malisonian.etsy.com. I have been using it to keep my camera cozy. I think this would actually make a great gift for a guy. But I am going to keep it for myself, mine all mine!
My first press piece in the current issue of The Fader magazine!!!
It is on page 40 of Jan/Feb Issue.
Yay!
A lil' Penguino. I made this last week and have been waiting for the paint to dry before I scanned it. I would like to find a nice white wooden frame for it. Does anyone know any good inexpensive wood frame sellers online or in the nyc area?
A++ packaging effort by Malisonian. When the lighting gets better in my apt. I will take a picture of what's inside.
I am going wacka for zakka right now. It is kind of like cuckoo for cocoa puffs but slightly different...I haven't figured out exactly what zakka means but it has something to do with 1. Handmade 2. Vintage-looking 3. Stuff for your house that you really don't need but have an uncontrollable urge to possess.
Oh how I love it so.
In this particular magazine (in Japanese) they've added a form where you can actually purchase the stuff from the magazine in it. Thank the lord that I do not understand Japanese or I would be in the poor house right now.
on the left is side is Jimmy's date of birth and on the right was an early self-portrait, at that time of the sketch he was called "Jimmy Mezengrebagh" he later changed his name to Jimmy Backpack when he went through Ellis island.
I am so addicted to apple and strawberry designs lately and I don't know why. I found these at a 99 centish japanese store!
This is heaven@air's bunny (from flickr). How damn cute is this bunny? She made that sweater for him/her out of one of her own socks! I just want to rub my nosey on this bunny's nosey. I know you want to too! :)
Happy New Year everyone!
Thanks everyone for making 2005 a great year. I really appreciate your comments and kind words!
Here is my first completed softie of 2006. His name is Jimmy Backpack. I made him a polka dot mini sketchbook to carry in his backback so he will never be bored.
