Tip of the week!

Do not consume any pastilles/candy/mints with this warning label, *especially* in a you-can-hear-a-pin-drop classroom environment. Ungodly groans from your intestines are definitely a distraction from making sure the proportions of your painting are correct. Ugh.  So I will blame my lackluster painting this week on Phenylketonurics  Phenylalanine. You heard it here first :).

Juuust to clarify the record...

Phenylketonurics are people who suffer from phenylketonuria, a digestive condition. The unfortunate gastrointestinal effects you suffered are the result of over-consumption of sugar alcohols--in this case, maltitol. Xylitol and sorbitol do the same nasty thang.

Ha!! Thank you so much fo telling me. I still need to blame someone or something for my bad painting. My apologies to the phenylketonurics out there! Damn you sorbitol and maltitol! I will change it, thanks for clearing that up, I appreciate it!
