I'm trying out some new book cover designs. This apple design came out a little too Italian/ Mexican flagish for my taste but still kinda cute. I think it would make a good recipe book.

With the red binding I think the pattern isn't too much like a flag. It's really cute, and could also be a nice end-of-year teacher's gift!

I love the apples but I think you're right about the red and green binding making it a little bit like an Italian flag. Perhaps just stick with the red or even black?
I've been thinking about starting a growning note book as I'm hitting the seeds hard this year and trying to grow all sorts of food. Perhaps some sort of book with your lovely fruits and veg's on would be good for that?
