So you can see my blog posts on LiveJournal? How does that work? If someone comments on it how can I see it? would it show up on the main blog? Someone enlighten me. Mucho Gracias.
this is what your i'm confused... post looks like on livejournal. it shows up just like that on my friends page.
on livejournal there are "friends pages" where you can view the other journals that you listed as a friend. all of the posts your "friends" do will show up on your friends page. it is on this friends page that i can see your blog's posts, because i have subscribed, or "friended" your rss feed.
i'm willing to bet that you didn't create the rss feed. someone had to create it, it is not just something that automatically happens.
it looks like there are 3 LJers subscribed to your blog. they/we know that you don't have an LJ and therefore, probably wouldn't be commenting to the feed on LJ, because you wouldn't see it. if people did comment, it would NOT show up on your blog, however, it would show up on the livejournal post. i don't think i've ever seen anyone comment on the livejournal feed.
i really hope this helps. if you have any other questions about it, let me know and i'll do my best to answer them! :)
I think Ellie pretty much covered it. I use my lj friends list as an RSS reader as well - it's convenient to read my friends' entries at the same time I check the blogs I like to read. I think most people understand that the blog author won't get the comments if they comment on the RSS feed - I don't think I've ever seen any comments on your feed. People probably go to your site to comment.
i was the one that said i saw you on livejournal! well, that i subscribe to your feed or whatever. i'm also the one that bought the first timmie shirt you sold! :)
I am having trouble keeping track of everyone's secret identities :) Did you see my comment on flickr I left for you? How does it feel to be the first Timmie T wearer?
i did see the flickr comment! i didn't see this comment until just now. it's such an honor to have the first timmie shirt! i love it! i wear it all the time.

Thanks! Last week someone mentioned that they saw me on livejournal, and I'm like I don't use livejournal...so it all makes sense now.
Thank you for all the info!
