
I found this polka dot flagging tape online. It is just plastic strips that construction workers (edit:"forest people":))use to mark their work area. Wouldn't it be nice though to have thick polka dot packaging tape like this?! Yes, I would think so.

Me again. What you're looking at is forestry flag tape. I see it all the time on the logging road I take to get my firewood. To me, if you made a bow on a present with this stuff I'd assume you intend to come back tomorrow with your chainsaw and truck, chop it into quarter rounds and haul it away. Crazy kid... here you go:

Can I get away with not chopping up the gifts after I've "flagged" them?
Better yet, give everyone on your gift list a flagged log round. The bark alone is decorative enough!

My dad varnished a tree stump once and he used it is a lamp stand in our living room. The neighbors were impressed with his "craftiness".
I recall another fine example of 'stump' craft I found on eBay a while ago.
