Pippi Longstocking - My hero

Jennifer made a comment about Pippi Longstocking and it led me on a all-things-Pippi hunt (Pippi suitcases!). Pippi is so great. *sigh* She is such an inspiration for independent women. I plan on renting and re-watching all the old Pippi movies when I get a chance. Who's with me?

Pippi is wonderful, me and my daughter (Annika:) watch the old Pippi-episodes all the time! I even made her a Pippi-apron with a lovely fabric with pictures from the original books about her! You can see it here...

Everytime I wear ponytails, some smartass has to call me Pippi! Thing is, I've always viewed it as a compliment.

That's it, ponytails for me tomorrow!

Ha ha, found your blog through florspace and the Pippi clip brought back some memories :) I used to watch the video over and over when my two daughters were little. My youngest even went to a fancy dress party with pipe cleaners threaded through her plaits!
A cute and nostalgic moment.
